“I needed a club that would adapt to me…”
After recently moving to Scotland, Marcus was ready to get back into training—but finding the right environment mattered. As a wheelchair user, he needed a space that would truly understand his needs and adapt training accordingly.
At Zenith, that’s exactly what he found.
From the start, the team took the time to listen. They worked around shoulder damage from wheelchair basketball, focused on rebuilding his core and mobility, and created programmes designed specifically for him—not a one-size-fits-all approach.
That level of care made all the difference.
Now? Marcus feels stronger in his shoulders, stronger through his core, and more motivated than ever. But beyond the physical changes, what stands out most is the environment.
The coaches are supportive. The community is welcoming. And everyone is accepted exactly as they are—without judgment.
Watch the video to hear Marcus’s journey in his own words.
“Being in a wheelchair, I needed a club that would adapt to me and my needs—and Zenith did exactly that.
They worked with my shoulders, my core, and everything I struggled with. A lot of gyms just don’t take that time, but Zenith did.
Since joining, I feel so much stronger and more motivated.
What I love most is the coaches and the community. Everybody welcomes you for who you are, and I find that absolutely amazing.
If you’re thinking about joining, do it. You’ll feel better in life, more motivated—and it’ll be one of the best decisions you make.”
