About Lesley

Lesley started her journey with the sport of Olympic Weightlifting through Crossfit in 2014 while working in London. This meant she got to coach athletes at all levels from complete beginners starting in their 40s and 50s to young athletes starting their career in weightlifting and other sports like rowing, athletics and rugby. As an athlete:

  • she was selected to compete for Scotland internationally in both 2018 and 2019 at the Celtic Nations Championships.
  • was awarded a Bronze Medal in the U64kg at the British Championships in 2021
  • finished in 8th place at British Championships 2023 in the U71kg category
  • Qualified for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in 2022 in the U64kg category but was not selected by the Scotland Commonwealth committee
