Recipe 10: Breakfast Quinoa with Blueberries & Pecans

INGREDIENTS:

50g cup quinoa, cooked

50g organic blueberries

25g cup raw pecan pieces

1 tsp. organic maple syrup

Method

Mix cooked quinoa with maple syrup. Divide evenly in two bowls and top with blueberries and pecans. Serve warm or cold.

TIPS:

Quinoa gives the same "comfort food" feel of a warm bowl of oatmeal, but without the carb loading, and is a great source of protein

Drizzle a little warm almond milk over the top for extra "comfort"
